Should you keep your "fat" clothes when you're maintaining?

After a 30lb weight loss I am finally on the maintenance plan, which is awesome. As a reward, I bought myself a brand new wardrobe. I love my new body and my new clothes, but at the same time I am afraid to throw away my "fat" clothes. I am very committed to my new, healthier lifestyle but there is little voice in the back of my head that tells me to hold onto these clothes "just in case" I put the weight back on.

I donated all of my fat clothes to charity. Just knowing that they were in the closet felt like I was giving myself permission to put the weight back on.

Thanks for the advice Kaytib. I hear what you're saying, but I lost my job this year and I really can't afford to donate my clothes if there's a chance that I might need them again

When I lost my weight I took the clothes that no longer fit me to a really good tailor and had them resized to fit my new figure. It was the fraction of the cost of a new wardrobe and it inspired me to keep the weight off even more!
